In Handens Hospital premises in Haninge is this nice pool. The pool is about 9 x 3 m and maintains a temperature of about 33°C.

Here we have courses in baby swimming, splash & play, swimming lessons and swimming school from 4 years and up (steps 1- 3) as well as adult swimming school.

  • Entrance is via the main hospital entrance. Turn left past the reception. When the corridor splits (straight ahead or to the right), turn right. There are shoe protectors to put on or you can leave your shoes here. Continue straight ahead and then turn right again. At the end of the corridor on the left is the pool.
  • There is plenty of parking if you are travelling by car. There is a large car park adjacent to the hospital.
  • Pushchairs can be parked in the entrance hall.
  • Cots for the youngest children are available in or outside the changing rooms.

  • Here, one adult per child can be in the pool.

  • Changing takes place in separate changing rooms formen and women. In the corridor, the men’s locker room is on the right (opposite the entrance to the pool) and the women’s locker room is at the end of the corridor.
  • Smaller lockers are located in the corridor outside the women’s dressing room. You insert a crown, turn the key and the locker is locked.
