Swimming school & adult swimming on Kungsholmen

In the DN building on Kungsholmen we have a large and fresh exercise pool with dimensions of about 17 x 10 m, a depth of 1.2 – 1.6 m and a temperature of about 27-28 °C.

Here we have swimming lessons, swimming school from the age of 4 and up, crawl lessons and adult swimming for beginners and for those who want to develop their swimming technique.

In this pool we also welcome preschool, school and leisure groups!

Here we sometimes run several courses in parallel, next to each other, because the pool is relatively large. Pay attention when the instructors make the first call so that you are in the right group.

As we rent the pool for the times we have activities, you are not allowed to swim before or after your designated swimming time.

Welcome to Kungsholmen – Oasen!

  • Gjörwellsgatan 34, DN-huset, Västerbroplan, Stockholm
  • Entrance is via the main entrance. The pool is located on level -2 and on the door there is a sign “Oasen – Bad och exercise”.
  • Parking is available in a large car park in the DN building.
  • Bus stops within five minutes walking distance.
  • Baby carriages are parked on level 5.
  • Cots for the youngest children are available in or outside the changing rooms.

  • Here, one adult per child can be in the pool.

  • Changing rooms are located directly behind the reception (on the right side). There are separate rooms for ladies and gentlemen and in these are lockers – bring your own padlock (not with too short shackle)!

    For good hygiene, no outer clothing (jackets, coats, thick sweaters), bags, socks or shoes may be brought into the pool. For shoes there is a shoe rack at the entrance. If you want to lock your shoes, they must first be placed in the bag provided at the entrance. Fold up long trouser legs.

  • Lockers are available in the changing rooms, please bring your own lock.
